I've always praised kissanime for their high quality videos, clean interface, and no commercials, however the ads have gotten out of control with all the popups and whatnot.

In addition it's too hard to get ad block working correctly even after following all the helpful instructions everyone has had on this subreddit. I saw in another post recommending instead. So far it is just as clean and just as high quality streaming and the best part is that there are no ads even without adblock/ublock origin turned on (as far as I know). There is one thing though I am confused about: 9anime.to lists kissanime.to at the bottom of every page. Are they affiliated? I clicked on the link and it is still 9anime just with all kissanime episodes available?

Edit: People have mentioned Tampermonkey extension as a solution, but honestly I am not gonna put extra work just so it can stop working again when KissAnime decides to change. You need to use UBlock and Tampermonkey on Chrome in order to get it to block ads on that site. UBlock is a much better AdBlock service as AdBlock and AdBlock Plus have fallen behind quite a bit.

Tampermonkey is to run a script that stops ads from yelling at you like the one on KissAnime when you use an AdBlock on their site. In UBlock there is an Anti AdBlock Killer Reek option and requires Tampermonkey. It will give you instructions on what to do. I've been using this combo for some time now and sites that even say 'Please support us!' Those have disappeared.

I know ad's are how sites make money but a lot of sites have lost my trust with hijacking popup ads. I understand that they need to use ads to make money.

However I do not believe they should be including ads that cause viruses. I remember praising KissAnime for not having commercials but still making ad revenue. I am all for ads as long as they aren't commercials, but KissAnime in my opinion put me over the edge with their predatory ads. I found an alternative that suits my needs just as much. I have been using 9anime for the past couple months and I have grown to be accustomed to this website. At this point I think 9anime has an even better interface than KissAnime and I really liked KissAnime's interface.

I respect the way you feel about the ads on KissAnime however I do not like them. Thank you for sharing your opinion on the matter.
