Pre K Wake Up Songs
The preschool daily program involves circle time, devotions, nutritious snack, instruction time, language art activities, music and Bible teaching. The daily experience is rounded out with outdoor play, lunch and rest time. Outdoor play time varies according to age groups and the number of children in attendance at any given time. The afternoon involves a continuation of the morning activities, an afternoon snack, indoor and outdoor activities. There is an occasional assembly, field trip or special event that may alter the daily program. CPC Preschool includes religion in our daily curriculum.
The children will hear Bible stories and do some lesson work daily. We also attend chapel once a week to sing praises to God and thank Him for the blessings in our daily lives. All of the staff will reflect their personal relationship with God in their classrooms and be a positive Christian role model for the children in their care. They respect the ministry of Cerritos Presbyterian Church.
They will read simple Bible stories, use songs, finger plays, and crafts to help the children understand and experience the lessons in our Bible curriculum. We are CLOSED on the major holidays listed below: (If the holiday falls on a Saturday, we will be closed the Friday before. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, we will be closed on the Monday after.) In addition to the days listed, CPC Preschool will be closed that last three days of August prior to Labor Day weekend, for teacher in-service training and preparation for the new school year.
